Seymour Land Trust Scholarship

The Seymour Land Conservation Trust is a non profit corporation dedicated to preserving open space, for passive recreation, and the promotion of the natural life cycle.

Eligibility Requirements

I. The applicant must be a resident of Seymour, Connecticut.

II. The applicant must be pursuing an education in the environmental field or related studies.

APPLICATION Program

I. Applications will be available at the guidance office of Seymour High, the town hall and the town library.

II. The winner will be chosen by the executive committee of the Seymour Land Conservation Trust with the recommendations from the guidance office of the Seymour High School.

III. The winner of the award will be presented with $500.00 at the annual Seymour High School awards banquet although the winner does not have to be graduating from Seymour High School (state and private school students are eligible).

IV. Presently, the scholarship is funded for ten(10) years with $500.00 each year and we hope to be able to increase this amount in the later years.

V. All applications must be received by May 1^st.
