Billy Stockmal, a Eagle Scout candidate, from Seymour with the help of his father Ben Stockmal and fellow Boy Scouts, planned, cleaned and prepared the Fountain Lake hiking trail.

 The property consists of Seymour Land Trust land that was donated by Joseph Nesteriak and Town of Seymour property off Fountain Lake Road. |
 It is a rugged trail in a heavily wooded area between Davis Road and Fountain Lake Road. |
 It is open to the general public. NO ATV'S.Violators will be prosecuted. ATVs damage the trail and create a safety issue for those who attempt to walk the trail. |
 A small foot bridge needed to be built to cross a small wetland area. |
