Scholarship Program

SLT has a generous member who finances an annual Seymour Land Trust Scholarship of $1,000 to be given to a local area High School Senior who resides in Seymour. The recipient must be a good student and have an interest in the environment. Last year the award was split between two very deserving young men. We were very pleased to award $500 each to Patrick Stanek and Peter Lynch at the annual award ceremony. Both of these young men have been involved in the Land Trust and community activities to an extraordinary degree. Our thanks to each of the award recipients for their hard work. To apply for a scholarship please fill out the application and return it to the land trust by May 1st.
